Upcoming Events
- Bell Ringing: Monday ringing practice from 7.30 -
9.30 and Sunday ringing from 10.15am. Visitors or learners always welcome. Contact Ian Talboys (01467 623682) or Ruth Perrett (01224 701301).
- Cathedral Choir: Choir rehearsals are normally on Fridays from 7.30 to 9.00 pm in the Cathedral. If anyone is interested in choir membership or would like details, please contact the Director of Music, Michael Thomson, or any choir member.
- Aberdeen Chamber Orchestra concert on Saturday 25 February at 7.30pm
- Fairtrade Fortnight begins on Monday 27th February. To start the ‘ball rolling’ there
will be a competition and silent auction in the Cathedral on Sunday 26 February.
For the Competition, everyone is invited to bake a ‘fine piece’, such as a cake,
traybake or biscuits using as many fairly traded ingredients as possible. There will
be two sections, children (14 & under) and adults, and there will be prizes! Please
bring your contributions before the morning service with a card detailing the fairly-
traded ingredients used. A Silent Auction will follow after the service for about 15 minutes. All are invited to bid for the goodies and money raised will be donated to a Fairtrade project. which will be identified nearer the time.
